Here I’m about to get rid of a Vitus 992 Ovoid Frameset + seatpost…
Purchased 150euro for the frameset from a Lithuanian guy via the facebook vintage bikes page.
According to his description of condition was, “perfect condition, just minor scratch blah blah…”
Thought that i’m a lucky one, but the fact that i found after i assembled a bike with this frame is that, IT HAS BEEN DAMAGED by crash from the front.
The toptube is slightly bent, Fork-end, dropout are all Out of center.
However, This frame still can be a good item for certain type of person who are like;
- a master of aluminum, so that you could manage to restore the frame, please take it.
- If you are considering to make a commute bike with low budget but somewhat extraordinary, this one will be an option.
i don’t recommend tho… - If you wanna decorate your room with some legendary bike frame (Seon kelly, winner of 1992’s Millan-San remo with vitus 992) to prove to your mates that you are a bike lover.

Crank : 170mm arm, Chainring 52t-39t / some minor scratch but generally good condition on crank arm and chainring.

I have both type of BB which is compatible with the crankset.
All BBs are spinning super smooth and not visible damages on thread.
You could pick either one of them. The tool will included.

The Rear hub nut was too tight from the beginning. tried to remove it with calipers as i didn’t have hub spanner. Thats why some scratches on hub nut.
