Hyvät Naiset ja Herrat! Mina Damer och Herrar! Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
Winter Tweed Run Helsinki, tuo joka talviseksi perinteeksi muodostunut riehakas talvikarkelo pidetään tänä vuonna 2018 sunnuntaina 11. päivänä helmikuuta, nyt jo kahdeksatta kertaa peräjälkeen.
Kokoonnumme totuttuun tapaan Senaatintorille, mutta vasta klo 13 alkaen.
Reitti, aikataulu ja ohjelma noudattanevat pääpiirteissään jotakuinkin edellisvuosien vastaavia.
We are enormously delighted to announce that the the 8th annual Winter Tweed Run Helsinki will take place on Sunday February 11th 2018!
Gathering on Senaatintori around 1PM and getting on our way some time after that.
The route along Helsinki’s southern coastline as well as the the schedule and program will roughly follow the ones of the previous runs. More information will be shared later on.
The first part of the route from Senaatintori to Cafe Regatta will be as in the previous runs but the evening matinée will be held this year at a new location at the Wayward Gentlemen’s Juke Joint & Gin Parlour in Vallila (Pälkäneentie).
Exciting, isn’t it!
Unfortunately there will be no sauna this year, but dear friends, let us assure you that all the other amusements will be as delightful and enchanting as any. The musical flavours and oddities will be provided by Maestro Ruscello and his fantastic Gruppo Velocitá!
Please, equip yourself with warm clothing, great spirits and open minds as well as some money in the physical form of currency, such as banknotes and coins for the soup and other refreshments.
We are overjoyed and exhilarated to see you fine folks in less than 24 hours!
Ensitalvena taas uudelleen…tunnelma oli kyllä erinomainen ja suurimmalla osalla oli niin kuteet kuin fillarikin vanhaan hyvään tyylikkääseen henkeen. Erikoispyöräpajan tweedrun jatkot myös vähintääkin ikimuistoiset.
