Aventon Mataro Low | Pietro

I have been watching the forum for a while and decided to participate.

Here it is when I first built it

Had it for a while before carbon exploded :frowning:

Most of the times I have it set like this

With my Pelago front rack!

front wheel and impotent stem are no no

other than that good autumn katurata swag

e: and saddle angle finally set

digging, especially the rack! What is it?

I have new wheels actually coming soon

The rack is the Pelago Commuter medium front rack i got it last summer in Helsinki.

This is how it’s currently (and final) build

I would swap the frame to a slightly dented LOW frame and ride it to the sunset.

Slam it and show some musta kannu on the rims.

Wait…

What?

Are those translucent valve caps?

fyi this is not a deep east where deep drops and deep rims are appreciated

riser and stealth wheels are the way to go

see you in the final build

This is how I ride it on Crit and at the local velodrome. I do have another bike that I ride on risers and low rims  (It had to be disassembled), I will put a picture of it when it’s looking more complete again

I would not swap... but wouldn't mind to add a LOW to the collection!

Came with the wheels... usually I choose not having any, if you fancy it I will send it to you :)

Looks painful to ride on the streets but for the velodrome probably quite okay! I was looking for those wheels for my Parallax a while ago, but wasn’t able to find a pair for sale anywhere in Europe :<

Also way too many logos (and wrong ones - the right ones can be found at the skenepyörä-tobacs) and if the enve is fake then dear sir/madam you have failed this build.

Back to around the cnc-machine with this one.

Me neither... actually had to message American Classic themselves and they told me what store to contact, and once I didn't get any answer from the store they checked it directly and made sure the store would contacte me... Amazing Customer Service...

(This all took more than a month off course and meanwhile just so it happened that the track team here had a new sponsor and couldn’t ride A.C. so I got it from them)

Sorry man but I do not know what you mean by “the wrong ones” I do agree the wheels comes with too many logos and I considered removing them and leaving only the white/red american classic… but once I used to think the Mavic Ellipse had too many stickers on it and now I think different, so, not removing any.

Buy anything second hand will never give me a 100% garantee that it’s real or fake. The people and places I buy from I vouche for them.

The seatpost, which was still quite expensive and I almost sold it to make money, I got from a roadie fellow I know (not really friends) who bought new bike with different measure.

only ac logo sounds fine and edding marker for those red spokes

riser build bestest build lastest build fastest build. wheel stickers give +10% speed. but slam plz for more extra speed

Nice sled. I’d steal this one anytime
Ride on, ride hard.

This is my other bike I am slowly building. Most of the components came from the Aventon.

I’m considering getting some Miche cranks for that and putting really low rims on it.

It’s a Pietro frame. A Czech frame builder. Frame was made for my measures.
Fork is from a RodaGira I had a while ago. Aluminum.

Looking swagger. plug that bar tho.

this is a sincere request: please do not put miche cranks on this frame. if it’s handmade to your specs, please give it some love and put some better cranks on it. like sugino, campagnolo or dura ace.

nice choice for fork material - aluminum is the best.
